About The Last of Us Remastered
The Last of Us Remastered adapts the 2013 game for PlayStation 4 with higher-resolution presentation, improved performance, upgraded effects and additional visual detail. It preserves the original story, level structure and combat design.
The package includes the Left Behind campaign and previously released multiplayer maps. Photo Mode and performance options helped distinguish it from the PlayStation 3 release.
Remastered became the principal console edition for the PS4 generation. It is a technical remaster rather than the ground-up remake later released as The Last of Us Part I.
