Rosalind Myers

Rosalind Myers is the President of the New United States of America and a former chief executive of Militech. Her administration operates in a world where national power and corporate power remain deeply entangled, and she uses the FIA and assets such as Songbird to defend and extend NUSA interests.

Phantom Liberty begins when Space Force One is attacked over Dogtown. V rescues Myers and becomes involved in the effort to recover Songbird. Myers is capable, disciplined and personally formidable, but the story repeatedly contrasts her public language of duty with the coercive treatment of intelligence operatives under her command.
