Jefferson Peralez

Jefferson Peralez is a Night City politician campaigning for mayor on an anti-corporate platform. Together with his wife Elizabeth, he hires V first in connection with Mayor Lucius Rhyne’s death and later to investigate a disturbing security breach in their home.

The investigation uncovers evidence that the couple’s memories and behavior are being manipulated by an unknown organization. V must decide how much of the truth to reveal, but the responsible network remains deliberately unresolved. Jefferson’s later condition varies with that choice, making his storyline one of the game’s clearest examples of power operating beyond visible corporate politics.
