Claire Russell

Claire Russell is the bartender at the Afterlife and an experienced mechanic and driver. She recruits V for a series of illegal street races known as The Beast in Me, initially presenting the competition as a return to an activity she once shared with her husband Dean.

As the races progress, Claire reveals that her real objective involves rival driver Sampson and Dean’s death. V’s dialogue and actions can influence whether she pursues revenge and how she understands the crash. Claire’s vehicle, the heavily modified Thorton Mackinaw known as Beast, is closely associated with her storyline.
